Another nice one, which camera/lens combo are you using for these and how much are they cropped?

It looks similar to a female blowfly.

A Sony Alpha a58 with the kit lens 18-55mm set to 55. From slightly more than 5000 width down to give or take 1300 and then resized to 800 width to fit my blog. I am no expert on identifying flies it could well be a female blow fly.

I am building up the skill set for when I order the tamron 90 macro. For this shot I was sitting down with my forearms solidly resting on a cement and stone wall. Oh yes my in camera stabilization was definitely on.

You and your camera are becoming to be good friends lately. This is a nice shot.

As you gain experience with your Sony, the images show it!
