Brian,an intriguing perspective. I cannot for the life of me work out the way the leaves crossover.
I do like the subtle colours and the nicely diffuse backdrop.

Actually they don't cross over. Starting from the stem which is at 7 on the clock the first pair is at 9 and 3. The second pair may be confusing you. The one that points to six was bent and should line up with the one pointing to 4. A little good fortune with the white balance and a good F/ accounts for the colour and the blur.
