I am nowhere near talented but thanks for the link, Richard.
Yes you are Izzie.
Looks like it might be worth trying, with a few images, to see if anything happens.
With the level of quality here, everyone should join and take part in the challenges.
Some have decent prizes too and in many an "expert" will also pick his best 10.
I joined in March managed to get one challenge about owls. To win in the challenges you will need to post shots that a generally ignorant eye-candy picker would select. You can see from old challenges the huge difference in what the general public selects vs what the "expert" selects.
Not that "experts" are any more expert at judging but at the end of the day one does get to see about 20 more than decent pictures at the top. The expert commentary is also a good read.
It can be fun...
And some pretty average T&Cs....

I joined in October. Quite a bit of fun entering the competitions. Makes me stretch a bit in terms of genres, although I must admit I submit mainly older images that I feel fit the criteria and do not go out shooting to fit the bill.
I fully second Bobo's comments on the judging and experts comments. Just do not go in with too much emotionally riding on the outcome or your placement in the ranking.
Izzie, your images need to be entered. More than fully within the bounds.
Hmm. What I thought was interesting is that they sell your photos if anyone wants to buy them. I've never expended much effort (almost none, actually) trying to sell photos, so I thought this might be a way to see if any sell without putting much time into it.
Interesting link!
