    It is getting there. If things work properly the tamron 90 could be here in about 6 weeks.

    I've started dabbling in macro just a bit of late and enjoyed your work. I gather you have a new marco lens on the way; what have you been using in the past?

    You should have quite a skill-set basis when your Tamron arrives. This is nicely captured...

    I wonder if some increased structure might not help this creepy-crawlie...

    The Sony Alpha a58 came with a 18-55 zoom lens. Nothing fancy but within it's sweet spot it is sharp and can create a nice blur in the bg.

    I am learning how to use the clarity / structure tool but it requires a fine eye and a subtlety that I have yet to master.
