My One Egret
I was out to L.A. in December and ended up driving up the coast (ultimately as far as Point Magu). This was shot on the Santa Monica Pier, about half way out where they have wash stations(?) for people fishing from the pier.
I realized as I posted there is fishing line visible on the LHS, if it bothers anyone sufficiently I'll clone it out.

Re: My One Egret
You have done well to get such good feather detail when shooting in sunshine. I would certainly clone out the line.

Re: My One Egret
Thanks Geoff, I agree the fishing line did bother me as well so I cloned it out.

There is a slight bit of white on the RHS also. Nicely titled and captured.

Re: My One Egret
Good capture of a tough subject. I always have the 'blinkies' on when framing them to try and get a balance between blown highlights and lost low-lights. I think I would have cropped a little tighter to avoid the fishing line but still retain the shoreline on the horizon.

Thanks John, that was from rotating and cropping.
