I am thinking on a tamron 70 to 300 but maybe a 70 to 200 is just fine.

All very nice, John. Now, I am guessing, you are suffering from the dreaded GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome)
All the three are very nice images
very nice images John, I have the 70-300 and love the reach of it but I envy the speed of the 70-200. However, its still only as good as the hands its in - and in this case it looks very good
