Dicky -- all of these are very nice...I forgot you are going towards winter soon. You will soon be inundated with senior Melbournians. They migrate to Queensland for the summer. Anyway, I digress again...

Is it possible for you to remove that sharpy thingie on the lower left hand corner of #1? Or clone the whole flowers with it too? that is, if your software will allow you. I love azaleas. I am still trying to grow them here in my backyard.

    Thanks Izzie,

The 'thingie' is a spike on the leaf of a century plant that is choking the azalea. If the century plant doesn't flower next year it will be turned into mulch. I've edited out the spikes (top and bottom)

PS. The southern invasion has already started. Mind you we even head north in July and August.

Now I got to know another plant...I googled it and hubby came in the room and asked if I am looking for another plant for the garden...I think he is scared when I look at plants in the internet -- so he asked where we are going to put it...men!

Definitely a plant to avoid. The spines on it are lethal and its roots spread everywhere, suckers pop up all over the place. I was trimming the hedge once and backed into it - it really was a PITA.
