That is a nice shot, the tourists look very nervous (at least the one's not texting) as would I if experiencing the same. For the locals, this type of interaction, flow of activity is normal.

Thanks John... There were many such instances when I thought they would all end up in a logjam. But every time they manage to untangle themselves and keep moving forward almost effortlessly.

Ashish - another good shot from your Thailand trip.

One thing that doesn't work as well for me as it could is the positioning of the people in the boat at the front of the image. They all have their backs turned to us. While there are some circumstances where taking people from the back works very well from a composition standpoint, more often it does not work as well as when we see them from the front.

Had the people in this boat been facing forward, this would have been a stronger image. I have less of a problem with the people at the top of the image. You have some facing forward and some showing their backs. As these are a less dominant part of the image, the two directions tell us the direction of the boat traffic, and this does add some context to the shot.

Very nice image......but I am glad I have not to find a way to through this boat congestion .......
