View from Marlow Lock

The view from Marlow Lock looking west to Marlow Bridge and All Saints Church yesterday mid-morning.

A beautiful sunny day, although by the time I reached Lock Island the light had got a a bit harsh, so I have done a little creative editing. I like the effect, although I expect there are those who think I have gone too far. Comments would be very helpful.

Marlow is a delightful location and that is a pleasant scene of the weir and the church, and with great reflections. Generally I like your editing and there are just a couple of minor points that are probably for my taste: the reds are just slightly too strong for me, and I would crop away a strip of the water up to the reflection of the tip of the spire, for a slightly more panoramic view. (Incidentally, it looks like there's a sensor spot in the sky on the LHS.)

I like the composition and the lighting, but would agree with Philip on the crop. Maybe I had more than a standard measure of wine with dinner or is there a slight tilt to the right?

Thanks for the Dust Bunny alert Donald and well spotted. I had to blow up the original to find it. I have looked at the image and it appears level to me so may be its good Aussie wine after all Richard.

nice image. I agree about the crop and might crop a tad from the top too. Re the dust bunny: it shows at f/10, which suggests it is pretty big. You might want to shoot something blank--a boring gray sky or a perfectly blue sky would do well--at f/22, which would show you whether you have more than this one.
