Beautiful images.
An interesting trivial note from Cornell Lab of Ornithology, "Like all other blue birds, Indigo Buntings lack blue pigment. Their jewel-like color comes instead from microscopic structures in the feathers that refract and reflect blue light, much like the airborne particles that cause the sky to look blue."

Hi Dudley,
What I like about both series is the detail in the birds despite them often (e.g. 1 & 2 above) being against a bland and no doubt bright white sky - you have controlled the highlights well.
