Thanks John, new this image would be a challenge when I took it. The light was very hot on the white and I locked the exposure on a very bright area hoping I could make the background black when processed.

Any other feedback? Would be appreciated.

Great shot. But there is a fair bit of bg noise. Perhaps if you were to (Gimp terminology) paint the bg flat black to eliminate the noise?

I have not seen a white daffodil before...there are a lot of things I haven't seen in this life, mostly the beautiful ones like this unique to me flower. Is it possible to even just brighten it up a bit after painting your background?

I was told this is a Paperwhite not a Daffodil. Shows you what I know.

Yes I can brighten the Paperwhite up a little.

A beautiful flower, I agree with the comments about brightening it
