This is one of those says-more-than-it-shows photos for me. Although the winter snow is one of the main subjects, I immediately thought "Summer - picnics - swimming - barbeque." Very nice idea and pesented so well. Getting that scene as you have, with sufficient dark in the table and no blown snow is pretty masterful to me.

Yes, wonderful shot, Peter. The shadows are nice, and the blue sky makes a nice backdrop for the essentially monochrome foreground and subject.
