I had to google the title - my French poetry knowledge is sadly lacking!

As John mentions, it's a strong scene but lacks a subject to focus on. I'd suggest (if you can reshoot) walking down the hill a little way and use that tree at the bottom of the image as a subject, placed in your scene in the gap between the valley. You'll need a fairly wide angle and a low shooting angle.

The other suggestion I'd make is that it could do with some delicate post processing as it's very flat. This is partly the lighting, but I can see how you could get creative with that mist, the greens and the shadows.

Are there lakes in the top right hand? I am not sure that they add to the scene.

No Ken, those are some specks of melting snow from the last winter ( neiges d'antan) ;-))

A nice scene I would crop the image from the top just a little bit to eliminate the bright melting snow .

I like this as it is. We are too much used to highly processed images with exaggerated colours. The bits of snow at the top give relevance to the title.
