I think it's really interesting that the premise of the newspaper article and the display of your images is that black-and-white photography takes us back in time. Newspapers regularly displayed color images for the first time in the late 1970s. Even so, most of the images were still displayed in black-and-white probably at least until the mid-1980s. So much for back in time.

Well done Matt! I find the impact of your B&W images above the brightly coloured advertisements a bit telling, though and it does provide some interesting contrast to the images and the article.

Ensure that you keep hard copies of this spread in a safe and secure place. Additionally, many newspapers have online versions, if this is true with this paper, I would keep that also. If not, I would do a good copy of the layout and store it digitally!
