After the late spring storm, the sky turned solid blue over the Rocky Mountains on May 2nd. Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado had very few visitors that day, the very high roads are still being blown clear, but one could still get around on the lower elevations which had very clear roads in some places. This shares a few of the pictures from that day.
It's been awhile since I've communicated within this group. I look forward to getting back into the mix.

Lovely images... The area around Estes Park Colorado (Rocky Mountain National Park) has some exceptionally beautiful scenery. Some times of the year, there are elk wandering the streets and eating in the gardens of this small town... In addition to elk, we spotted big horn sheep and moose as well as a myriad of smaller animals. Well worth a trip...
Thanks for reminding me it is Rocky Mtn National Park. As a local I've been going there for over 65 years and to all in the family it is just "Estes". This was one of the most brilliant days I've ever experienced there. At the condo, we have a regular herd of elk that comes through. This time we had just a group of about six young males. The dominate male eats by himself.
