After drive across the Canadian prairies for only the second time I've acquired an affection for these old grain elevators. There's just something about them I find interesting.

Dave -- I am going to criticize if you do not mind. I think #1 is leaning to the right and #2 looks like the same but in a different way to the back also right side. Both needs perspective correction. I suspect you did your straightening on the power pole. If you remove that, the leaning backwards will be more pronounced. Just a thought --must be my monitor leaning to the right too, who knows?

Hi Dave,

I am in agreement with Izzie about these needing some rotation + perspective corrections to balance problems between left and right sides, although it is also apparent, in #1 especially, that all is not vertical in reality.

Q. Should the thread title "Petersen" be "Paterson"? (I can easily fix if so)

Thank you Izzie and Dave. I agree I didn't get the straightening quite right and I totally forgot to do the lens correction. I will give it another shot today.
I have another elevator I should post because this one is quite extensive with several tall parts that all have a slight lean in different directions. Guess it is a natural settling of these tall old buildings.

Peterson would be correct Dave.....oops.

From the looks of the buildings, I'd say they are leaning to the right because that is the direction the prevailing winds push on them.

Both very nice shots but as Izzie said they are leaning to the right ever so slightly but thats not a big issue really. Tho it can be easily fixed with the transform tool in p.s.
