Lovely Young Lady and Cute Puppy
Our seventh and final Chihuahua puppy has been adopted today by this lovely young lady and her mother.
I would have liked to do a portrait session with this young lady...

They're made for each other. The images are nicely done too.

I assume that copies of the images went to the young lady along with the puppy? If so she'll cherish the memory some day. Nicely done.

Re: Lovely Young Lady and Cute Puppy
Yep, I just sent her copies of the images along with copies of the images of the litter as they grew and of the mom...
We are quite relieved that the Chihuahua family has been adopted...
I knew that the young lady would look great in photographs. Her makeup was immaculate...
Tomorrow is the Cinco de Mayo celebration in San Diego's Old Town... She would be a wonderful subject to center a series on that celebration around...
BTW: El Cinco de Mayo (or The Fifth of May) is a Mexican national holiday celebrating the victory of the rag tag Mexican Army over the French in the Battle of Puebla, May 5. 1862. It is celebrated like our Fourth of July and the French Bastille Day...

Re: Lovely Young Lady and Cute Puppy
Okay, so I know absolutely stuff all about portraiture, how to set up a shot, dealing with correct lighting on the subject, and anything else technical or artistic which really matters in framing such shots.
So, having laid the groundwork for my credentials to be able to comment in this matter I will now proceed to do so!
Both are excellent. However, if I had to be churlish, I would say that, given my credentials to do so which I have given above, the subjects' orientations in #1 would seem to distract the eye. Two beautiful subjects. But framed that my eye has to jump from one to the other, being not being quite able to focus on them together. So, how do I decide which is your primary and which is the secondary subject?
But then we have post#2. And that really does it for me. Both beautifully framed in close harmony and perfectly balanced as a single central unit. No need for the eye to wander between the two. No confusion here. One central core subject matter. And the tying together of the two is strengthened by the clever orientation and positioning of the young lady's right hand.
Having said all of that please remember, as I said above, I know 2/5ths of 4/10 ths of bugger all about framing portraiture shots.
To summarize my cc, being as technical as I can in this. Were this young lady or the pup part of my family circle I would be very happy to have #2 hanging on my wall for all to admire anytime.

A lovely young lady, indeed. The pup isn't too bad either.
Both lovely images, Richard.
