Well, digital has caught up with the resolution of my 4800 PPI scans from 6x8's of my Mamiya RB67 Pro SD, but at a price of $56,000, I'm staying with film and my RB has a view finder.
Who here is up for adding this to their kit ?

I don't see a need for it.
If I were printing very large, high quality images (and I had the money to do so), I would definitely look at these.
On the other hand, I really do have issues in spending the same kind of money on a camera as one would on a decent luxury car.
What lens would you need to resolve sufficient detail to justify 100Mp?
A friend gave me an Alpa film camera, I wonder if I can trade it in for a discount?
Black Objects
At the size I print (usually >= 13x19, A3+?), I'd bet that no one would ever notice if a patron gave me one of these to replace my 5DIII.
I 'acquired' a Canon MT-24EX Twin-Lite flash for my macro photography last year at considerably less than the retail price. So I think I'll wait for it to appear on EBAY. It is definitely one of those items of kit that someone will buy because of the numbers involved , use, or try to use once, and then shelve.
I have every confidence one will appear soon, and I have set up my automated request to be notified the moment one does so.....
I should also make it clear... just for the record, that I can very easily believe in three impossible things before breakfast !
The pixel density is only slightly more than a Nikon D800 (40 mp vs 36 mp). So it's only a negligible resolution improvement. But you should be able to print larger or crop more.
