    Freshly Painted

I was looking for a way to capture the clouds and came upon this freshly painted bulldozer.

I like your composition. And prefer the B&W - the colour has a little too much vibrance to my (current) taste

The colour image does it for me John. In the B&W the bulldozer is lost in the trucks behind. The clouds have enough pop for me in either version

It seems a shame to use it and get it all mucky.

I think it is what they call a fore end loader in this part of the world.

The colour one for me too John.

The complementary colour of the yellow front end loader against a (mostly) cool tone image works far better than the B&W image. Using complementary colours as a compositional technique doesn't work in monochrome.

Colour one for me too John...it breaks the blues and the whites and the rest of it too and to me it is a stronger image than the B/W.

    Manfred,

Thanks for comments, I wanted to see how well yellow would convey in monochrome.
