From a plane window

These pictures were taken a couple of years ago with what was then a brand new camera and before I had photoshop or any editing skills. More recently, I have improved the clarity and colours without changing any of the content.

They were taken on a plane trip between Brisbane and Bali. The first two are somewhere on the north coast of Australia but I have not been able to locate them exactly. The third is a small island just off the south coast of Sumba in Indonesia.

They take on an attractive abstract appearance.

If you didn't try using haze removal, consider trying it, especially if your software has a Dehaze tool.

I did use the dehaze tool in ACR and it certainly made a difference even though the first one still looks a bit hazy in the distance.

Tony, were you going on holidays you took this images? The first one looks like a normal aerial shot. Although I like image #2 beachline, it looks different like a distortion (is that the right term?) because it doesn't look like "land" like #1. Maybe it needs a bit of perpective correction? #3 is a cutie -- the shape of a surfboard.
