Reflection is due to the dark coloured water containing Tannin leached from the Beech trees in area. An overcast day helped to reduce highlights burning out. SOOC, no crop.

Lovely scene. The reflection is great, and the colors is perfect. The only thing I would have done different is, if it was possible, trying to remove the tree to the right in the foreground. But overall nice picture!

I have been staring at this image and nearly asked what that line is all about until I realized it was the water line. Silly me! Very nice place...We have some three or four birches in our backyard the paper birch variety..I like them...Very clear reflections. It must have been a windless day when you took this...

I think you've tried to lighten the darker spaces to much. Reflection is always darker as the direct viewed objects. I think if you kept the reflection darker, it gains more depth. Now it's quite flat.
