Both nicely composed, I think the first would have worked better as B & W but I like the color version as is. I only mention converting because the second image was presented in B & W form, possibly converted because of the direction of light or noise level. On the second, I would possibly let the figures go to silhouette to help tone down the sky. Nice additions to the series.

thanks John for your comment. In 2nd image i was forced to be at that place and the sun was exactly on the left corner. converting it in silhouette, I tired but it seems i could not do it well, but still i have revised it. Here are the revised versions.

    Tejal,

I like the conversions on both, especially the second image as it now has more contrast and POP.

    Tejal,
Very nice work. While I like you composition and treatment of both, I prefer the second of the two as for me, it tells the story better.
    Well done.

    Hi Tejal:

I like both images and while I am good with the colour version, I think the B&W gives more atmosphere to the images and we are less distracted by the very colourful clothes, allowing us to see the flow of the images: for example in the first image the eye follows the line of workers down towards the bottom right of the image, while on the second image, we are free to see the flow of the salt itself.

It must be a very caustic environment to work and film in. I hope you didn't have too much salt blowing around onto your camera equipment. After this you can definitely call yourself a "seasoned photographer"!

I definitely like the second edits of both images, the B&W for me makes a stronger image. Again each one in my opinion stands well on its own but combined tells a bit more of a story. But unless you're looking to tell a story with a series of photos, a story can always be told through one well captured image, you seem to have a knack for that so good for you!
