I have driven by these many times and never stopped to look at them. Only stopped this time to watch a moose cross the field. Once stopped I decided to check them out and was pleased to see the texture of the wood and lichens. Despite being all in a row, separated about 3 metres (12 feet) , each one is different.

Decided on black and white to emphasize the textures, they are quite interesting in colour as well.

Nice job of capturing the texture, Trevor. It's amazing how interesting common things can be if one slows down long enough to pay attention. Well done.

I like the lichens and I wonder if you get close enough with a macro shot, what one will find?

Very nice. B&W has really got my interest lately and these are amazing.
