Very different perspective for you, I think the B & W loses the dynamic presentations of your other images, don't let my opinion force you into a specific mode, but it is something to think about when converting to black and white. Needs a bit of tidying at lower left near the chair and the slanting black background should be eliminated or made more prominent. I'm also interested in what she's carrying in the basket and that might not translate as well in B & W. Nice effort.

Thanks John for your valuable feedback. The place was quite clutter. I tried my best to avoid untidy areas.

Color version also I will post. May be color version looks better.

    Tejal,

I'm sure the color version will translate more detail.

    Tejal,

Much more interesting capture, in fact I'd crop some of the left and keep the gentleman and steam.

    Hi Tejal,

The colour version loses the critical detail in the woman's face. Your b+w shot has the man just OOF enough not tae distract from the main subject but also keeping interest in the rest of the picture. Ah'm not usually one for cropping street shots. If it's in the shot, it's because ah want it there.

In this case, ah took the liberty of a few changes. Ah think, removal of the extraneous distractions (table top, padlock etc) benefits the shot and brings more emphasis tae the steam.

    My interpretation...

With the colour image, she is further from the right side edge and I prefer this position. Possibly an option to crop a little from the left side but I wouldn't say that was essential.

Oh if only the gent was positioned in front of her how this scene would change, yet her eyes and their position does still create a sense of fear or possibly just weariness.

I understand the artistic ambition of the image with the man in the mist offering contrast and mood for the woman holding the basket. I find myself solely interested in the woman and would like an image that features her without many added elements. Here, she is cramped into the right side and top edge. My 2 cents.

The B/W works IMO, Tejal. But compositionally the main subject, i.e. the woman, is cramped and moving/looking out of the frame. If she was looking at the camera or, better, back across her shoulder would work. Without the guy in there it might be fine. But as-is, not my favorite of your work. But as always take my comments in stride. I know nill about shooting street
