Beautiful picture! I wonder if it was cropped at the waterline, leaving the tree out, does it look like a Claude Monet, or is it just me?
    Lovely capture!

Nice shot Jim. The ripples and reflections make it interesting.

Y'know, that's not such a crazy idea. It would be a completely new and different image. This is good as it is. Doug's idea suggests a second, different image.

No -- it is not just you, Doug...I do not like a Monet but that will exactly be what this is if Ziggy crop out the main dogwood tree to the pond line...

    Beautiful shot, Ziggy...

I like it overall, and the ripples in the water really add a nice impact. Well done.

Really a nice composition. Well seen and executed. Dogwood is my favorite tree. I miss them up here

Very nice. I think there are lots of ways one could do this one, but I like the one you have chosen.

It's worth exploring for sure. I tried that with this image where i took a picture of a reflection, flipped it vertically 180 degrees and was trying to achieve a bit of a watercolor, impressionist effect vis a vis Monet. Just takes seeing the image a little differently and in this case taking advantage of a light breeze that rippled the water a little.
