I know the earth is round but it just seems a bit excessive. What software are you using?

Very dramatic lighting and handled very well considering the dynamic range in the scenes.
    Thanks Paul.

To sharpen I use the high pass filter technique In ps6. I think i might have pushed it a little to far maybe?
I also agree about the horizon though I am not to sure how to correct the distortion. Do I use the transform tool like when fixing distortion on buildings? Maybe you could shed some light on this for me?

Thanks every one for looking. You have all been very helpful.

    Hi Chris,

With PS6 in filters you will find "Lens Correction.... Shift+Cntrl+R". If you go to the filter the window will open in the default Auto Tab and if you can select the lens you used it will apply the default corrections and allow various adjustments. I often go to the Custom tab and adjust manually. Have a play. For lots of corrections it is easier to use than the transform tools and has the added advantage of being able to correct/adjust chromatic and vignetting errors.

Ah I see. Thank you. I have been wondering also about chromatic errors and how to fix them. I got two leasons for the price of one there. Thanks again.

There is a bit of a sharpening halo along the top of the rock formation on the right. Perhaps it's not there in your full-size image and became apparent only when you sharpened for downsized display on the Internet.

If the image was mine, I wouldn't remove the posts. If you do decide to remove them, be sure to also remove the wire attached to them.

OK, so there are tech things that could be better - but does the set suffer? Nope! For me, the third has an extra pizzaz** that makes it stand out from the other two.

** Non-technical term that means it had more immediate impact.
