    Carlie

Carlie is a Morkie (Maltese + Yorkshire Terrier) puppy. She has been socializing quite well...

What a mischievous look. I'd darken the bare(shaved?) belly.

    Re: Carlie

Thanks for the comments. I had not noticed her belly and will correct that. BTW: The little green tattoo on her belly is what many vets (especially vets at shelters) are doing when they spay dogs. When a dog is spayed at a young age, there is a very minor incision needed, leading to a minuscule scar. This makes it difficult to ascertain whether the dog has been spayed, later in life. The tattoo prevents a later vet especially a shelter vet if the dog has been lost or turned in to a shelter, to ascertain whether a psay has been done. The tattoo prevents an unnecessary surgery.

I was going to ask about the tattoo when I first saw the image. A clever and nice solution .And Carlie looks beautiful

Here she is with her really mischievous look. "I wonder what kind of trouble I can get into now"

    Carlie

BTW:what looks like odd colored hair on her chin is really the multi-colored collar peeking through her beard.

    Re: Carlie

Carlie has been adopted and will go to her new home tomorrow...

Between our San Diego group and our Los Angeles group, Maltese Rescue California has placed ten dogs in new homes this week and we have rescued over 90 dogs in 2016...

Judy and I have a new litter of rescue puppies with us, five little Maltese just a couple of days old and their mom...

    Carlie

That's what we call "a pile of puppies"
