MACH One...
We are co-owners of Sara Marie who is the very first female Maltese ever to achieve an American Kennel Club (AKC) Master Agility Championship. She is now known as Master Agility Champion Jule's Catch Me If You Can - of course, she's still Sara Marie to us. We don't want her to get a big head about this. It's bad enough with us having a big heads.
Sara has been invited to the Eukanuba National Invitational Specialty Dog Show, which opens in Long Beach, California in December of this year, where she will compete against other Master Agility Champions. Wish us luck!
BTW: The white pipe in the image is an important part of the MACH tradition. It was Sara's last hurdle in the show in which she won her championship. The hurdle was signed by all the competitors (the humans, that is, not the dogs).
I am amiss in not mentioning that the credit for Sara Marie's victory belongs to Debbie Bax, Sara Marie's mom, trainer and faithful friend. Debbie has worked long and hard as a team with little Sara Marie to accomplish the Master Agility Champion rating.
