Just back from the Philippines.

Just got back from a week in the Philippines and took tons of photos. Here is my first edited shot of the fisherman of Lucena at sunrise. Sure lots to come.

Neat image... I lived in Barrio Baretto (between Olangapo and Subic City, Zambales, Province) and I loved to see the fisherman leaving and returning... Unfortunately I had a film camera at that time. The prints have faded out and the negatives are nowhere to be found

The Filipinos are some of the world's friendliest people and the young Filipinas are a delight to behold... It was Shangri-La to a single sailor in my early 30's and was also great as a married sailor in my late 30's. My wife also loved the Filipino people and they returned her love. Their nicknames for us throughout our neighborhood were Mr. and Mrs. Sweet. We took that as quite a compliment and were always extremely safe. The whole neighborhood was our neighborhood watch
