    Well lets put it this way, Brian, I can't really place that strange creature into any butterfly group based on the antennae. So what else? It is sometimes a pity that some creatures don't come with an identification label attached.

    If I could see an aerial I might consider it was a radio controlled stealth flying device.

    If the wings fold up over its back then maybe some sort of flying bug; but if so, it is something which is unique to your part of the world.

    It definitely does fly. But the wings have always been extended when i have seen it. From the front it looks ever so much like a Harrier Jump Jet. I'll see if I have a frontal shot. I may have deleted them because of their quality.
