Yes, it occurred to me after I posted that I was probably conscious of the wind and the waves. The next shot was into shore (you can see the same rock on the left) and the camera went to ISO 500. The next time I am on the beach in similar conditions, I will try opening up the aperture a little in favour of a little more shutter speed.

This too was edited in CEP, using the GND and Tonal Contrast filters selectively. I think there might be a touch of the warm green Foliage filter in there, too. I am trying to create the sense of spreading morning light, but it seems I either go too heavy or too light.
