    Water bombers

Took these last week when things were quiet. Lots of buildings, chain link fences, cars, and trucks that I did not want in the shots so I decided to shoot at extreme angles and to never show the entire plane. The larger one is a Canadiar CL415 and the smaller one one on floats is a Twin Otter.

    Great Dave,

#1 and #2 for me too, love the detail (great paint job!).

I think you compromised too far on #5 and especially #3, but #4 is OK.

    Thank you for the comments.
Izzie you will get to see the whole plane soon. I had the pilots park in a different area of the ramp for another reason not related to photography but will allow me the shots I want without distracting backgrounds. I manage these aircraft so I had access to them.

What about the flying boat#1,2 and 5? Reminds me of a PBY Catalina that was restored at out little airport. Shortly after takeoff on its trip east it developed a fuel problem. It couldn't make it back to the airport but there just happened to be a large lake close enough to land in. I bet It surprised a bunch of fishermen.
They fixed the problem and took off never to be seen again. that was 36 years ago. If you did that now the FAA would probably hang you.
