    The fun of street photography

Some of the fun of street photography is that you never know what you will find. I spied this lovely lady as I looked down an alley on the Greek Island or Corfu. Her clothing shop was the alley... The light was brownish reflecting off the walls...

Then I spied this older Greek woman walking past a church pushing her cart...

I think that this image also looks good in a gritty B&W version...

However, sometimes you can "make" a street photograph. I noticed this mirror on a Venice wall and hoped someone interesting would come along to be reflected in it. These two young ladies were perfect reflections...

But then, sometimes you have to be quick to catch an image...
    The fun of street photography

I noticed the smile on this lady's face as she texted her cell phone. I liked the light from the store window also...

Sometimes a closer crop makes a different image...

An enjoyable set. The cropped last one works well. Enjoy your holiday.

When I visit a new place I like to just walk around and get the flavour of the place. This does it for me here.

Nice series, the vignette is a bit strong, makes it look like a night scene using flash. Nothing wrong with the presentation if that's how you want it viewed, but a sepia toning (I know it has been done to death) would provide a much stronger image.

The EXIF of the images stated that these were taken in 2013...Richard and wife just bought a new car as per his recent post. Enjoyable nevertheless and good examples of street photography. I like the first and last one...

I tend to go back on my images and play with them whenever I feel the desire.

Nice series Richard, I like the mirror shot the best. The color is very nice in it, monochrome might work too.

Here's a unique situation! I don't really do street photography in my own area but, I love to do it when I travel. I wish that I could get interested in my own area
