A different approach of a moon shot. And I like it, Binnur. Beautiful!

Re: This is how I see moon

I checked out this thread because out here in LA, we have been having fires, and last night the moon was blood red.

Binnur's image is very peaceful, the type of composition one might use in a space documentary. It's hard to do anything interesting with the moon alone; it needs something in the foreground (tree branches, buildings, etc.). This shot goes beyond the usual "moon over the water" type shot.

One minor question: The moon seems off-center to its reflection. How is this? If this is how it appeared in real-life, I would be tempted to fix it in post ;-).

I saw this when it was first posted, thought I made a comment like, $^@*&^&+, is that ever a great catch. However it seems I didn't, so I must write myself a sternly worded note to make sure I do next time.

    Cheers: Allan

Thank you very much for looking and liking the image Mike My brush might have gone a bit too far while brightening the reflection.
