    Hi Brian,

    Obviously this is suffering a lack of light and restricted view.

    However, it was worth taking, and if I may be permitted, to suggest you turn this in to an abstract as follows:
    a) crop the top edge down so the top of the wing just forms a tangent to it
    b) crop the left edge in so the lower wing just goes in to the lower left corner as a tangent also
    c) crop the right edge in so we lose the bright bit peeking out behind the top wing
    d) Decide after cropping whether any remaining fronds of foliage need to be cloned out to complete the abstract work of art you'll have created
    e) Leave the subdued tonal range as it is

    Bet that's not what you thought I'd say

    The shot was taken in a cement lined drainage gutter. A restricted view and lack of light because of bushes would be one way to describe it.

    Would this be anything like you had in mind? I admit you did surprise me this time.
