    Another dandelion

Was not sure to post after seeing some very nice dandelions here.

Not had much time for processing, shot last week, pp today.

Lots off dandelion seeds around here too. But I only shot one, two actually...
Shot in my table top 'studio' (don't expect too much off that ), which I do enjoy.

C&C Always welcomed and appreciated. Hope you enjoy.

1.: One seed on a mirror.
    Another dandelion

    2.: and a Lucky shot

    Hi Rudi,

The refractive reflections in the first shot are a bit of an issue as I'm sure I didn't need to say

I really like the second one, especially if caught and focused in mid-air!
I was wondering what the background is in #2?

    Cheers, Dave

Awww....Dave, I like #1 without the seed reflection but I still like both shots because it is different from the other two or three already here recently. #2 is cute too and I like the backdrop, whatever it is that you used...Well done!

I do have 'mixed' feelings abt the reflections myself. Well next time I will do different

Setup was simple: Install a vertical tube as guide for the seed, camera on a tripod, prefocus below the tube, drop a seed in it and shoot as the seed leaves the tube. Simple hé, but I got only 1 'Lucky' shot out off a few hundreds, and it is a big crop (+/- 50%).

As a backdrop I used a print off a nightsky-city scape near the shore, boosted the colors & blurred everything.

Thanks for your feedback Dave !!

A few hundreds!!! I wish I have your patience. Did you shoot Shutter Priority? What is your setting...
BTW I like #1 but less the seed reflection on the reflection. Just a hint of the stem in the reflection is good enough I think...I should had explained it better...

Yes, a few hundreds, but I need to say that my hand-eye coordination is not anymore what is was in my younger days, and there was always something 'wrong' in the picture
Exif data should be intact; Manual mode f7.1 ; ss 1/500 ; iso 400.
