    This pair has returned to their winter quarters.

    I'm not sure but I think the first one is the male. The bits in his feathers are from the Tea Tree bark, he was having a good scratch when I saw him but my shutter was too slow to freeze the motion.

    I wonder why they are called Frogmouths? Nevermind I can research that question....these are cute shots but they looked bedraggled. Are they always like this?

    Bedraggled or just feeling their age... This is the same pair two years ago.

    Well...I had seen the frogmouths from that last year shots and they are cleaner. Not that I am complaining about the bad hairdo of the original post here, I just thought I'd mentioned it..
