    Another Blue Angels Image

Not to bore you but, I just played with another Blue Angels image. Here it is...

    Another Blue Angels Image

Nice thing about shooting jet planes is that you don't need to use a slow shutter speed to prevent stopping the propellers. I used a Canon 7D with 300mm f/4L IS lens, ISO 400, 1/1,600 second @ f/5.6...

I wish that the lower (image right) aircraft had a bit of separation from the aircraft in front of it so that the nose had some space between it and the wing of the other aircraft... Despite shooting in burst mode, I did not have an image with that separation. Oh well, we take what we get

Great pic Richard - but dust bunny at three o'clock! I've not commented much on your aircraft pics, but they really have all been stunning.

I have some controlled separation and more close formations that I took of the Angels before we left the grounds from the last airshow. This is pretty good. Well done, Richard. Maybe you and I can go to an airshow one day...
