Travis - the big issue for me is the bottom left half. If it were mine I'd crop to a portrait orientation and lose the green stick and the hand. I'd probably add a gentle vignette and try to find a way to focus the viewer's eye on the key parts of the picture - this may involve cloning out some of the stuff on the table.

I don't really like the idea of cropping but I can't see any alternative. Maybe try a 4 x 5 ratio and concentrate more on the shopkeeper's bored expression than on her merchandise?
