My family and other animals Take II
I revisited this scene last night and shot it one frame. Not too unhappy with it, but there are a couple of niggles. The main one is that there should be more couch on the right, but I had to crop out a pillar which was leaning at about 15 degrees because of the perspective. And I couldn't move the camera more to the right because that increased the reflection from the overhead light. As did trying to shoot from lower down, which also would have been preferable.
At first I was irked that I couldn't eliminate the reflection at the top of the painting entirely, but then realised that, from a particular angle, it looked like the light was coming from the moon in the painting.
Comments welcome.

Simon I love this shot. For whatever it's worth this is just a perfect shot. First I thought, too bad the entire couch wasn't in the shot, but then the more I looked at it the more I realized that I wouldn't want to see the entire couch. This is a scene of utter comfort and relaxation, of homeyness. And the painting on the wall, nighttime, the moon and the glare all just add up to a perfect shot. The only thing I'm thinking is that overall the lighting is perfect, perhaps too perfect. Kinda wishing there was more shadow (I'm thinking 'Dogs Playing Poker') in the image to convey more deeply that it's nighttime. Anyway, I would look long and hard for a frame and mat similar or complimentary to the one on the wall, frame this bad boy and hang it where everyone can see it. Great shot!

Lovely shot Simon
What a peaceful and relaxing scene. I think the image would look nicer without those white borders. I find them distracting.
