    High wire

I thought this was amusing when I came across a collection of fishing lures, bobbers, and hooks hanging from an electrical wire strung across a river.

Now this is interesting -- I like that the red blob is on both corner sides, first thing I noticed...Is this handheld? You just got that water right naturally. Looks like it is a little bit windy...Very nice...I like studying images lately and the reason for the shutter speed...

Izzie, I was walking across the bridge (highway) when I took this shot. When I got to the far end of the bridge this is where I captured the lady fishing and smoking that I posted earlier.
Funny thing is the guy in the boat is typing away on his cell phone......and he's an older guy. Times have sure changed.

Great storytelling, Dave! Best displayed at the large size in the Lytebox to see that the things hanging from the wire are fishing items.

No doubt he's using an app that tells him where the fish are.

Nicely done Dave. This is a pretty typical scene when you get out of town a bit. People fishing from the bridge blowing it when they cast and getting their lines tangled along the overhead power and telephone lines.

I usually try to compose so I don't get that stuff in my image, rather than including it. I think this image works because the man in the boat is likely fishing, so it ties the lost lures and bobbers into the overall image.
