    Marlow Brewery - Experimental Image

Recently I acquired a 10 stop ND Filter. As it turned out it was not the easiest piece of kit to work with, as to the human eye the filter appears black with no light showing through. So it is necessary to set the camera up on a tripod and manually focus then screw on the filter hoping that you haven't disturbed the camera, particularly the focus, because looking through the view finder shows nothing but black.

This is my first attempt using settings f/11, 127 secs and ISO 100.

    Hi Chris,

Apart from the smudged clouds (and of course, valuable practice in a controlled environment), what was the benefit of using the filter on this scene?
Did it assist with 'removing' (not registering) passing people? (perhaps planes and/or birds even)

I guess the 'brewery' has been residentialised?
Hey, I made a new word

    Cheers, Dave

I like the HDR look and exaggerated colors in the image
