I tried to upload a picture this morning and a salacious photo was substituted. Glad I previewed before posting.

It may not be that it has been hacked Terri ...
We are aware of an issue which occurs from time to time which affects random people, at random times and is an artefact of the way TinyPic re-use old image URLs and also the way proxy servers across the globe don't always refresh as often as they should.
The result is that some people in certain (usually, but not necessarily, geographic) areas see a different image to the one uploaded by the poster. By the law of averages, sometimes the proxy server affected is the one serving the poster, so they (you in this case) see a different image, whereas most of the world might very well have seen the correct image you uploaded (even though you couldn't).
Usually it is not like that - it is simply that some members see a different image for a matter of a few hours - but a couple of days is the longest time I have known this persist.
Just try again is all I can suggest.
This problem has arisen since you were last regular here, and occurs about once a month now (used to be less frequent). I stress it is usually a temporary issue that resolves itself.
HTH, Dave
Ahh, but was the salacious picture well exposed with a strong composition? We'd soon put it right if it wasn't...
I understand, Dave and you may be right. If it had been a random image I would have thought it a glitch. But since it was an image with wording appearing to be from the poster (me) inviting everyone to buy my underwear and let me know if they wanted me to do anything special to it first, it seemed to be a hack. So that image is appearing still in my preview. We'll see what actually shows up in this post.
Of course, nothing you guys can do about Tinypic. I just wanted to make sure people knew they should preview to avoid possible embarrassment after they posted.
Confirms what you said about some people seeing the real image. What shows in the post for me is the replacement I described which is also what previewed. OK, so I'll just give it some time. Since I've been gone so long, I'd hate for some of the newer folks to wonder who the heck this spammer is!!
Not wanting to be picky, but.......... it's an anhinga
Definitely doesn't look like a bird to me.
This strange effect happened to one of my threads the other day; I thought someone had somehow edited my thread. Donald looked into it but the offending image had just as mysteriously disappeared. If it happens again I will take a screen shot <Alt><Print Scrn> and gather any other data I can to try to resolve the bug.
That reminds me"Cormorants" or "Shags"
The common cormorant (or shag)
Lays eggs inside a paper bag,
You follow the idea, no doubt?
It's to keep the lightning out.But what these unobservant birds
Have never thought of, is that herds
Of wandering bears might come with buns
And steal the bags to hold the crumbs.
