Hi allow me to apply for the word you suggested:

Well, I was thinking of HRH Queen Elizabeth II for ruler, but I only have some film shots from the 70's and I don't have a scanner. Besides, she probably would not appreciate showing up in a Photoshop toolbox
Wendy
Yea, but it would be well worth it to get a cease and desist telegram from the our Liz. You can hear HRH Duck of Edinburgh now "damn colonials, you think they own the damn country". "They do Sir". Well blow me down with a grouse, nobody told me"
Well, terrific entries here – much better than I expected. Some really excellent images and a great use of imagination. Well done to all of you, and thank you for entering. Unfortunately I have to choose a winner, but it was a very difficult task given the strength of entries. For that reason I thought it only fair to acknowledge and comment on each shot.
If you now wish to comment on individual shots, please do so as normal.
I have to do this in two posts as there’s a limit of 20 images per post – bet you never knew that.
CROP Very nice shot, Wendy. Good detail and a strong shot indeed.
CLONE Excellent, Kay. Good study of a group, and a good match to the theme. I wasn’t sure about the vignette at first, but now I think it helps concentrate attention on their faces.
MOVE It wouldn’t be Wendy without the Diet Coke break commercial! Great combination of image and key word. This one was made me laugh.
SMUDGE Good shot, Kay. I like the curvature on it.
SMART OBJECT – Wonderful, Tamara. First rate, I thought. It has such an alluring texture to it, and an ideal candidate for Ortonization. You chose a difficult key word, but the image shows it very well.
MASK – Good choice, Mark, and a very good colour shot.
DODGE AND BURN – Brilliant! This isn’t a photograph it’s ‘installation art’… setting fire to it… crazy.
MOTION BLUR – Terrific shot, Jeroen. I love the way she looks so isolated amidst the pell-mell of everyone rushing about. Would make a good book-cover or something. Well done.
BRUSHES – Nice one, Wendy. Well executed. Are you an artist as well?
SELECT – This is good. Minimalist and to the point. Like it.

SHARPEN – Very nicely done, and to the point!
HIGH-PASS – Great idea matching the shot to the keyword. Nicely done for a difficult shot such as this.
HISTORY BRUSH – Excellent choice of keyword and image match. Good shot and very nice conversion.
STAINED GLASS Good shot, with nice colours.
GRADIENT TOOL Well done, Ron. A very good choice and you found just the right shot for it.
FOG I’m surprised more people didn’t try this one. Very good shot, Wendy.
HAND TOOL Another very strong entry from you, Jim. Great detail, sharpness and clarity.
PEN TOOL - Nice touch, using a quill, rather than a modern pen. I like it.
PAINT – Love this one, Donald. Very high-quality shot (as usual).
RIPPLE – I wasn’t too sure of the connection here (someone tell me before I say anything else). Good shot though.
ROTATE – Another very strong entry. Well captured. I like this a lot.
RAW – I was expecting a nude! Never mind. What exactly is the RAW material she is handling. Perhaps I shouldn’t ask. Good shot Carlos. And a good interpretation.
CRISTAL CLEAR Vidyadharan, was this based on the Crystal software by Tiffen? You didn’t say. Excellent shot anyway. I like the colours.
NOISE – Excellent portrait, Ali. Works well in BW. Great composition.
UNSHARP MASK – Probably the cleverest entry on the use of keyword to image.
STRAIGHTEN – Wendy has been down the construction site again. Nice one, Wendy. I was waiting for someone to do this.
PEN Great shot, Larry. Looks classy.
HAPPY KID Vidyadharan, Not sure of the connection here. Interesting image though.
AND THE FINALISTS ARE AS FOLLOWS.
SEE ALL SHOTS AND COMMENTS IN TWO POSTS ABOVE
Third place is DODGE AND BURN
Second place is Ali with NOISE.
First place is Tamara with SMART OBJECT. Congrats to you, Tamara.
Tamara
If you would like to select an image and PM me a mail address I will forward it to you ASAP. I just had a thought. If you would prefer a nice A3 print of your winning shot I can do that. But I will need to get a download of the full image from you. Let me know.
Once again, thank you all for entering. A great effort by all. Please add comments on any of the entries below.
