I like this Alan, the road leads your eye along the beautiful cottages, and the processing is lovely.

If it were mine, I'd crop the left side into the start of the roof eave at the rear of the first cottage, and the right side to lose the sign.

Is this Godshill? I have very fond memories of childhood holidays on the Isle of Wight.

Nice shot Alan. I can see why you have rendered this in mono. Yellow no parking lines have no place in such an old world setting. Might even be worth cloning those out if you have the wherewithal. Perhaps a touch of sepia...? But that would be personal preference not a crit.

Thanks everyone for your comments. You can see from the coloured version requested by Izzie, I did remove quite a lot of the distractions before conversion.
