Jeff, an interesting photo. It presumably is a stitched together pano shot? I tried to find suture lines in the water but couldn't see any.

    Actually it's just a crop at 24mm I think

Given the aspect ratio, I also initially thought it might be a stitched pano, but that was dispelled when I looked at 100% and saw the rampant CA (Chromatic Aberration) towards the edges of frame

It is especially noticeable on the left; see the 'chimney' against the sky, but it is also there on the far right, albeit mostly masked by the lack of strong contrasts over that side.

    Good compositional crop.

Hope that's helpful (if you're looking to improve), Dave

Jeff - what is the subject in this composition? A strong composition has a strong subject that draws us into the image.

Here all I do is have my eyes bounce from one ship to the other and back again. Both ships are so close to the edge, that my eyes just drop off the edge of the frame. While you have a common theme here, I find the ships are too far apart to act as a single, strong subject, so that weakens the overall impact.
