    Sunrise

My goal was to capture the beauty of this sunrise. Only LR was used for PP.

Nice shot Sam. If the time stamp on your image is correct, you really are an early bird getting out for this shot.

I find getting sunrise shots is touch for me at this time of year a bit of a chore. Winter, with the later sunrise is a lot easier for me!

Thanks Manfred. Thankfully, I do not have to go too far and I am a pretty early riser as I always like to see the sun rise. Looking forward to June 21 (solstice) so I can start getting more sleep in the morning!

Thanks Jim, actually for the trees I needed to boost the exposure quite a bit in PP. So in person the trees are actually almost without color. I have a time getting the right saturation and color combo for the trees on these sunrise shots.

The first image is a good shot. Love the effect with the clouds and how you caught just the tip of the sun coming over the trees.

I just love the clouds in #1 shot...the sun is just right where I would want it and layers of the mountains -- absolutely a magical morning shot! Good job. Well done job.

Hi Sam I really like the first shot. I would reduce the sharpening/structure on the clouds in the second image.
