Good one
Tipula paludosa female, Brian.
Dark leading edge to the wing with a long pale streak behind. T. oleracea are virtually identical but they are an autumn species.
There are a few UK sites but most tend to be rather specific in terms of species or location.
For example this site which covers a good range of species but only those found within one county.

Or this one which is also just one county.
