Saturday, I had the opportunity to join a local group of paddlers on a 15 mile sojourn down the Crow River. I cross this river everyday on the way to work, but have never had the chance to paddle it. The put-in was about 5 miles from my front door.
It took me a while of paddling to break out the camera, I needed to adjust to the fact that it was not a race...and I remembered that I knew the area better than the leader . This time I stuck with the 70-200 as the lens of the day, I really do not use it frequently enough.

I really wanted to see this bridge from the water...not quite up to expectations, but nice enough
local wildlife was a concern though
Thank God, the end is in sight......Sorry....could not resist
