    The Sea was Rough

Two days after the recent storm had passed, the sea was rough.

Good settings combinations in each shots -- I would have thought 1/1000 or the most 1/2000 shutter speed to get those little water sprays but I will remember your settings, the speed were all OK...the blurs are much better than expected (I expect) with those settings.

Thanks Izzie, Griddi, John and Nandakumar.

Izzie, if you set the aperture speed too high, the broken waves just look a cloud of water droplets. A relatively slower speed will show the water as gouts of white water. But it really depends on the size of the swell - ie the speed of the wave. The fuzzy looking spray you see in these shots is the result of fairly stiff breeze blowing in the opposite direction to the wave.
